Last weekend, the 15th "Big Festival of coastal spinning" was held in Buturlinovsky district at the recreation center "Golden Carp". The organization of the festival was at the highest level. Shore spinning enthusiasts competed in three zones.
For five hours, the whistle of spinning rods being thrown could be heard from all sides — sweet music for the angler. Very few perches were caught, but the pike periodically pleased anglers with its appetite. Fishing was quite civilized. Squints less than 30 centimeters long were released in peace: "Keep growing, kid. We'll meet next year."
Also, according to the rules, peaceful fish were not taken into account. The jubilee festival ended with the victory of the Buturlin team "AKM". But the second and third places were shared by the Voronezh national teams - "Rybyata" and "Fast Fish".
Together, the participants of the Big Festival caught a little more than forty kilograms of perch, pike and walleye. The big fish of the tournament was the pike for 2210. And the largest pike perch pulled in 1925. And these two trophies were brought to the fishermen by a set of boots from the brand "Torvi".
The results, of course, are far from outstanding, but not only for the sake of fish, spinners from various parts of the Chernozem region gather in the geographical center of the Voronezh region. Much more important is the unique format of the event, meetings with old friends and meeting new ones, sincere communication between tours, branded ear (which is traditionally prepared from the general catch of the first day of the festival), night songs with guitar and the positive charge that the participants of the Big Festival receive at the exit.
Therefore, the history of this tournament with its rich long-term traditions will always continue.
