Last weekend, the third and final stage of the “Carp League of the Chernozemye‑2026” for the Dunaev Cup was held.

The competitions took place at the Zerkalny Pond in Voronezh Oblast. After the first two stages, a group of six favorites emerged — teams that had never “reset” this season. And one of them, the “Pravsha” team, managed to secure a score with a carp right at the start of the marathon at Zerkalny.

This was a serious claim to success given the extremely passive behavior of the fish in the face of the promised precipitation. The rain eventually covered the courageous participants of the competition around seven o’clock in the evening on Saturday and continued with varying success until lunchtime on Sunday. But a small surge in fish activity occurred only right before the finish line. And during this short period of time, luck smiled upon two more favorites of the project.

In the final standings for the specific stage, both “Rybanyye” and “Parovoz” surpassed “Pravsha,” taking third and second places, respectively. The absolute champion of the project was the “Pravsha” team, and we sincerely congratulate them!

We’d like to highlight the girls from the “Fish‑Dzhiv” team — they made a real splash and confidently won the carp marathon.
