On February 3, the annual traditional festival of ice-jigger fishing “January ice-jigger 2018” took place for the ninth time. Due to weather anomalies, this year the dates of the event moved to February, but the “January” prefix nevertheless remained in place. 183 participants represented home region of the event, Mary El, the Ulyanovsk region and Tatarstan.
Three of the best fishermen were awarded with memorable prizes, including certificates for the TM Тorvi footwear from the general sponsor of the event, the “Lovchiy” store.
