Near Tambov, at the Kotovsky reservoir, one of the most significant events in fishing took place - the Russian Fishing Cup in the discipline "Fishing with a jig from the ice 2025".
As befits the country's mormyshakers, real winter has come to the region, but without severe frosts, winds and other anomalies.
For the first time, a competition of this scale was held in the Tambov region, and the host country did an excellent job, organizing a real celebration for winter fishing enthusiasts, creating a warm and cordial atmosphere for all participants.
300 participants came to the competition, representing 40 regions of the country, and there are even guests from the Republic of Belarus.
Two Cups were held, one for men and one for women. There were 31 men's teams, and the women's set a record for the number of women in the individual competition - 34 participants!
