January 5, 2019, the Sixth Silver Jig tournament took place on Lake Aborinskoe.
This year 55 sportsmen ranging from beginners taking their first steps in the sports jig to the most experienced sportsmen, candidates and masters of sports of Russia took part in this competition.
And the youngest participant, Vadim Agafonov, was only 8 years old! Despite such a young age, he fought the entire round and even managed to beat more than one adult opponent!
The only girl, Elena Nikolaeva, did not give men a break and, as a result, managed to beat a dozen sportsmen.
Sports jig is chess among fishing disciplines and, as a rule, not those who simply know how to fish well win in it, but rather those who can competently build a strategy for the entire tournament and skillfully attack opponents. The places in the top ten were taken by experienced participants, and novice sportsmen gained invaluable competitive experience, participating side by side with great masters.
TM Torvi congratulates the winners of the 6th annual tournament:
1st place - Vitaly Kolotovkin - 2290 points.
2nd place - Konstantin Presnov - 1926 points.
3rd place - Alexander Rudakov - 1618 points.
