XVII FESTIVAL OF COASTAL SPINNING

The 17th Big Shore Spinning Festival took place on October 3–4, 2026. As usual, it was held at the Zolotoy Sazan (“Golden Carp”) fishing and tourist camp in Buturlinovsky District, Voronezh Region.

This time, the weather let anglers down. In each of the festival’s two rounds, the large field of competitors faced the same challenge: just to avoid a blank and keep any chance of a high finish in the final standings. Almost everyone pinned their hopes on nano-perch, which could be caught on finesse rigs. The problem was that a strong crosswind made this kind of fishing much more difficult.

And although the predatory fish went on a two-day hunger strike because of the night frosts, the few pike that were caught were very small.

The festival took place in a friendly and joyful atmosphere.

Congratulations to all the participants!
