XVII Voronezh Penguins Festival 2026

On February 14, 2026, on the day of St. Tryphon, the patron saint of hunters and fishermen, the 17th interregional festival "Voronezh Penguins-2026" was held on the Voronezh Reservoir.

As part of the festival, visitors and participants were able to see a craft fair, a children's animation program, and an open-air music show. They could also participate in a speed ice drilling competition. There were also valuable prize draws. Despite the torrential February rain, which tried very hard to disrupt both the festival and the fishing, the celebration took place.

As it turned out, the wet "penguins" were doubly dangerous. They were capable of truly remarkable feats. Alla Khakhalina emerged as the winner in the women's individual competition, and she also won the "Big Fish" category among all participants.

The most intriguing moment of the Grand Festival was the recounting of the catches of the two contenders for the individual title. Vladimir Porotkov and Evgeny Spassky each caught exactly 2,505 grams. To determine the winner, they had to count the perch individually. In the end, Vladimir Porotkov won with a score of 211 perch (compared to Evgeny Spassky's 195).

Torvi congratulates the winners and participants of the event! The prizes from Torvi were a pleasant addition to the positive atmosphere of the weekend.
